Ruby Inserts

Our ruby inserts are made from 100% genuine Lab-Grown Ruby and are available in two different sizes to fit a variety of different style bangers and even the Puffco Peak! The 19mm inserts are compatible with both 25mm buckets like that on the beveled flat top banger and 20mm bucket bangers, while the 16mm insert fits the Puffco Peak perfectly.

Ruby banger inserts offer all the perks that quartz inserts bring: they help keep the bucket extra clean, act as a barrier to heat, and allow for different dabbing techniques like reverse dabs or cold start dabs, to name a few.

Ruby will never “chazz” or become hazy like quartz, but it’s less thermally resistant, so heat or flame should never be applied directly to the insert. We recommend only heating the insert when placed inside the nail.

Recommended ruby insert cleaning methods:

• Heat clean: Place the insert inside the banger. Apply an even flame all around the outside of the banger bucket, do not focus on one spot for more than 5 seconds.
• Soak: Grab your favorite 420 cleaner and soak the completely cooled insert in the solution. Do not soak a hot or warm insert. It will break.
